we have 6 in our jayco, got them about a month ago. so far it went off twice under the bathroom sink, the first time i went and bought a $6 part to replace the fitting but the second time we had to replace the plumbing line

Our 2019 Keystone Montana fifth wheel was like a second home for us. Last fall I opened the pantry next to the galley sink because something smelled musty and the bottom shelf felt different, not even soft really, just different. I pulled everything out to check and the floor under the sink cabinet was covered in mold. The shop told us it had probably been leaking a month and a half, maybe more, just a slow drip off one of the sink fittings. We never saw a drop of water anywhere. The repair guy said the water had traveled under the flooring and gotten into the slide framing, and all I could think about was how much they would charge me to fix it. Between what insurance wouldn't cover and what my RV was worth after, fixing it made no sense. The dealer wouldn't even give me a fair price on trade, and I think it's because he knew we were desperate. We ended up selling it for parts money and downgrading to a used travel trailer, which still sucks, but we're grateful for what we have. Hard lesson to learn and we always tell this story.
